Dametra Johnson-Marletti is an entrepreneur, board director, and retired Microsoft executive with more than 30 years of experience driving business strategy, digital transformation, and operational excellence at a global scale.
During her career at Microsoft, she served as a Corporate Vice President, where she helped drive digital sales and eCommerce strategy, leading initiatives that improved how customers engaged and transacted online. She was known for building high-performing teams, strengthening operations, and delivering results through a strong focus on customer experience and disciplined execution.
Today, Dametra is the owner of a WaveMAX Laundry franchise in Kent, Washington, where she is bringing that same level of excellence to a local, community-focused business. She is passionate about creating a clean, modern, and welcoming space for families, and businesses, while also generating local jobs and supporting workforce development in an underserved area. Her goal is to build more than just a laundry facility—it’s to create a place the Kent community can rely on and feel proud of.
In addition to her work as a business owner, Dametra serves on the Board of Directors of Bynder Corporation, a leading Software Services company, where she contributes her expertise in digital go-to-market strategy and enterprise growth. She also serves on the board of Medical Teams International, a global humanitarian organization delivering life-saving medical care to communities affected by disaster and poverty—reflecting her ongoing commitment to purpose-driven leadership and meaningful impact both locally and globally.
