How much does a laundry membership cost in Tempe?
WaveMAX Laundry on E Broadway Rd offers two plans. The Sparky’s Suds Pass is $449 for four months, which works out to about $112 a month. The Monthly Fresh Pass is $149 a month. Both cover 80 lbs of wash, dry and fold a month with pickup and delivery, plus a free comforter wash and a free pillow wash each month.
How much laundry is 80 lbs a month?
About 20 lbs a week, which is a full standard hamper for one person — roughly two to three loads including towels and sheets.
What happens if I do not use all my pounds?
Up to 20 unused pounds roll over into the next month. Rollover pounds expire one pay period, or one month, from the date they are issued. The free comforter and pillow washes do not roll over.
Do I have to be a student to join?
No. The plans are built around a student schedule and a student budget, but anyone in Tempe can join.
What if I go over my monthly pounds?
Anything above your plan is charged at our standard wash, dry and fold rate. We weigh every order at drop-off, so you will know where you stand before we start.
Where do you pick up and deliver?
Your laundry is collected from your door and delivered back to it. If you would rather bring it in yourself, the store is at 1845 E Broadway Rd #114, Tempe, AZ 85282, open 7am to 10pm daily.
Is pickup and delivery included in my membership?
Yes. Collection and return are part of both plans. Leave your bag out on your scheduled day and it comes back washed, folded and bagged. You can still drop off at the counter any time you prefer.
Is detergent included?
Yes. Premium detergent, hangers, color sorting and folding are all part of every plan — the same inclusions as a regular wash, dry and fold order. Free and clear detergent is available on request, and you are welcome to supply your own.
Can I use my membership at another WaveMAX location?
